A Huge Thank You to OneFamily and Rotary Club for Their Amazing Support in Our Community Garden!

Today, we were delighted to welcome volunteers from OneFamily and the Rotary Club to our community garden! Thanks to the kind weather, they worked hard to clear a large section of the garden, tackling weeding, pruning, and laying down woodchip. Their efforts have helped make the garden more accessible for local families. What they achieved in a day would have taken our small team over two weeks of continuous work!

Our Community Garden is an ongoing project to create a safe, inclusive space where people can connect with others or enjoy peaceful moments surrounded by nature. Whether you want to plant, grow, play, relax, or simply sit and take in the beauty, there’s something for everyone.

If you’d like to get involved—either on your own or with a team—please contact Donna at oldboatvolunteer@gmail.com. Our next volunteer session is on Wednesday, 27th November, and we’d love to have you join us!
