SUMMARY:Soft Play\, arts and crafts
DESCRIPTION:We had such a fun and successful lock-in at the Ladies Mile with our brilliant publicans\, Paul and Gayle – a huge thank you to everyone who joined in and supported the evening! Before they set sail on their next adventure\, Paul and Gayle bravely agreed to be “JAILED” in our makeshift pub prison\, all in the name of fundraising for our community. The Challenges The night was packed with laughter and some unforgettable challenges\, including:  Most pegs on the faceFastest to put on the most clothes in two minutesSkittle sortingSpaghetti tower And of course\, a lively pub quiz with pies to the face\, delivered by gleeful donors! Smaller donations meant further “penalties” such as eating lemons\, getting drenched with water pistols\, and marker pen tattoos. Paul and Gayle went head-to-head in these fun challenges while supporters donated\, cheered– and occasionally jeered – from the side-lines. Raffle tickets also added to the fundraising\, with fantastic prizes up for grabs. The Result Together\, we raised an incredible £2060 – all of which will be added to donations from Brighton & Hove Food Partnership and Brighton and Hove Soiree Rotary Club\, for our new community gardenshed. This shed will be an invaluable resource for our garden and the Food Use Places project\, led by our wonderful resident garden coach\, Becca. We couldn’t have done it without the generosity and energy of our community – thank you for making it such a memorable evening! If you were not able to donate on the day and would like to contribute\, please go tohttps://theoldboat.co.uk/donations/donate-form/

SUMMARY:Free Basketball Sessions- Girls Only (Term Time Only)
DESCRIPTION:We had such a fun and successful lock-in at the Ladies Mile with our brilliant publicans\, Paul and Gayle – a huge thank you to everyone who joined in and supported the evening!
