A little update from behind the scenes at the centre! 
We wanted to share some of the extra work that’s recently been carried out—above and beyond what was originally planned—and we’re so pleased with how it’s all come together!
All of this fantastic work was completed by Ian Guile and his team at ACG Property Services Ltd, on behalf of us here at The Old Boat Corner Community Hub. We’re so grateful for their hard work and attention to detail!
Exterior Improvements:
Both car park canopies were rotten with missing tiles and damaged cement—they fully repaired, restored, and redecorated them. Replaced damaged or missing tongue & groove cladding above several doors and treated with black stain and varnish to match. Cleared out all gutters and repaired several roof holes caused by broken tiles (see photos!).Interior Upgrades:
Cleared years of built-up attic clutter—two full skips worth! Built new shelving in the office and toilet areas. Replaced all door handles and made sure every door works properly. Repaired or replaced all missing/broken door thresholds and floor plates. On the stage, they added a large, mobile cupboard to help organise clothing donations. Installed new hanging rails for clothes. Completed various small touches—picture hanging, coat hooks, and more.A huge thank you again to Ian and the team at ACG Property Services Ltd for going the extra mile to improve the space for our community.
