We are pleased to share the first year report from the Brighton & Hove Food Partnership Project, who we are partnered with, along with 16 other partnerships across Brighton and Hove. You can read the report on our LinkedIn page here.
The project has engaged more than 3,400 people across Brighton, many from diverse backgrounds—to help build a food use mindset and reduce the climate impact of food through community-led innovation.
“With two dedicated team members and 40+ volunteers, we’ve built stronger local connections, tackled challenges like veg gluts with creative solutions, and generated over a ton of compost for our orchard and community garden. From switching to organic tea bags to engaging our wider team through a composting quiz—we’re shifting habits centre-wide.”
— Reyna, CEO
The report is well worth reading if you’re interested in community-driven climate action.
