End of Summer Fun Day

2023 End of Summer Fun Day!

Wow! What a turnout we had! An amazing day had by all. So much hard work went into making this day such a success. Our star of the show had to be the live music from Itchy Fingers, Melodie somehow managed to organise the whole event and sing lead vocals all day with her awesome band (www.itchyfingersband.com).

This year we had great inflatables from Daniel and the team at Brighton Bouncy Castles, as well as Sussex Ice Creams offering their delicious soft serve. James from Tumble Tots was there to encourage our younger guests to get their wiggle on and have a go on their equipment. Olu’s Nigerian Kitchen sold out of her delicious food in record time, we will definitely be seeing more of her at future events!

We had superb face painting from Daze (Moonlight Body Art), she was incredible with our young guests who absolutely loved her designs!

Mark from Co-Op Patcham also came along to spread the word that you can now choose Old Boat Corner for you nominated charity with Co-Op membership – another way you can support our ongoing fundraising efforts.

Inside, Emma gave up her time to offer some mini reiki treatments, while outside some of our volunteers ran games, crafts and free pre-loved school uniform. There really was so much on offer, and the sun shone for us all day which helped keep everyone enjoying the music right until the last minute.

We are so grateful to everyone who helped on the day, and especially to Melodie who is organising many events for us this year, and next. Keep your eyes open for the other exciting things we have in store later in the year!

THANK YOU ALL FOR SUPPORTING THIS JOYFUL EVENT!

We do our best to always offer events and activities for as low a cost as possible, so your support really does mean a great deal to us. Thank you!
